The Sun Shield Tee has a UPF50+ rating. It blocks over 98% of UVA & UVB rays and significantly reduces heat absorption when out in the sun.

Goldpaw's Sun Shield Tee is made from a smooth, silky soft, lightweight stretch jersey with a UPF50+ rating. This rating is gained due to the mechanical quality of the yarn (not from a chemical finish), so the protection won't diminish with washing and will stay effective for the life of the garment.

Black labrador Luke was tested while out in the sun with an infrared thermometer gun and they found his fur was more than 40 degrees Fahrenheit (4 degrees Celsius) cooler under the Tee than without.
