The Mantrailing V harness is designed for all types of tracking work. The tie-in point that is set back helps to optimally distribute the pull on the harness so that the neck sits quietly on the dog and does not slip up or down.

The dog always has a free throat and neck area regardless of the position in which it holds its head.

The harness can be adjusted in the back length so the optimal angle for the leash can be set.

The Mantrailing V harness has been tested by professional dog handlers and has proven itself in the field.

These are specialised harnesses for mantrailing, tracking and pulling sports so it is important to adjust the harness correctly to protect the dog from any potential injury. Please ask an experienced handler/competitor if you are unsure of how to fit the harness, or contact us for help, or refer to the video below.

NB. Grossenbacher harnesses are sized by breed and weight, not by girth measurement. (The girth straps on Grossenbacher harnesses generally have a very large range of adjustment.) The best way to get the correct size for your dog is to come into the fitting studio and try them on. If you order online you may need to exchange if the first size you purchase isn't quite right.

The standard sizes we offer in the Mantrailing V harness are 4XS up to L. Other sizes (7XS to 3XL) can be ordered on request - please contact us if you would like to order a size that is not in the drop down list. Sometimes we may have sizes outside 4XS-L in stock. These are shown in the drop down size menu on this page. If in stock the variant will say "Add to Cart".

Colours currently available from Harbour City Dog Gear are as per the colour selection drop down list on this page. Some photos in the gallery may be of colours that are no longer available. The 'violet' colour is a very pinky purple.

BACKORDERS

Backorders are available in our standard colour range as per the dropdown menu above. When you select size and colour, if backorders are available the button underneath will change to read “Backorder”. Payment is taken at time of order. Backorders cannot be cancelled after they are placed/paid.

NB. Limited Edition colours are generally not available for backorder.

Backorders for Grossenbacher products usually ship to you in 7-8 weeks. All items are hand-made to order so there may be a longer wait on some products depending on where we are in the order cycle and the workload/holiday season in Switzerland.

Your order is sent when every product in your order is in stock and ready to be posted together. If you would like an in-stock item to be posted earlier, please place separate orders.

Backorders are exchangeable.

SPECIAL ORDERS

Grossenbacher products come in a large range of custom colour combinations. The Mantrailing V + Reflectors harness has many other colour options available – we are happy to do special orders for colours we don’t stock, however special orders are not returnable or exchangeable (except under Australian Consumer Law).

If possible, please ensure you know what size will fit by coming into the fitting studio and trying them on your dog so you are not disappointed when a custom order doesn't fit and can't be exchanged.

Special Orders are paid for in advance and are not refundable or cancellable. Once you confirm by email what you would like to order, you will receive a payment link that sends you straight to the checkout screen where you can check over your order and make payment. Only then will a special item be ordered in for you.

Special Orders can take 7-8 weeks (sometimes longer) to deliver to you depending on where we are in the order cycle and the workload/holiday season in Switzerland.

NB. We emphasise: Special Orders cannot be exchanged or returned. When you place an order for a special item you are agreeing that the item cannot be changed/returned/exchanged.
